Description: In 1986, Sylvanian Families Japan released these beautiful black rug pieces in 2 sizes: medium and large. This specific one is the large size, measuring 6.5"x 9". The outer border is black with an intricate embroidered multicolor flower & ivy design and "Sylvanian Families" logo.
Condition: This is loved and in good to fair condition considering it is nearly 40 years old. The coloring of the embroidered centered is gorgeous! It is intact, colors accurate, and I haven't seen any pulling of the threading at all despite having delicate details. The black border has embedded lint, does have a bit of white dirt on the bottom middle near the logo and there does look to be some thinning in certain bordered areas and the coloring does look faded some. The edges look to be pilling as well. Please note that it has been folded over during shipping and I'm not sure if the previous collector stored it in that manner.
