Beautiful, high-quality carved shogi pieces polished by Sato Keisho Shoten, a long-established shop in Tendo.
These pieces are the work of Minoru Sato, who succeeded the second generation of the master craftsman, Koko Sato, famous for his one-character carved pieces used in the NHK Cup. These are Tendo kaisho (standard script) and jo-bori (superior carving) pieces, carved under his youthful signature, "Tenkei."
【Condition】
While there is some evidence of use and aging, they are in beautiful condition considering their age.
