Stunning and unique pair of porcelain hand painted candlesticks with a Chinese/Asian theme. Two elaborately dressed royal figures sit on cushions supporting candle holders that curve gracefully upward.
Based on the history of the company, these candleholders are estimated to be from the 1930s Germany. Erphila is the name of an 1886 import company based in Philadelphia found by German immigrants. They originally imported items from Czechoslovakia, then in the 1930s began importing from Germany and other countries.
Each candle holder measures 8x5" and both are in mint condition. A true conversation piece that will add color and elegance to any table.
