VINTAGE…HARD TO FIND...SET OF 6 ...JEANETTE GLASS 1940'S/1950's/1960'S "HELLENIC" PATTERN 22K WEDGWOOD OR JASPERWARE PURPLE/LAVENDER/CRANBERRY CORDIAL STEMWARE…GREAT FOR WINE OR JUICE.
DESCRIPTION... Each glass has a muted almost frosted figural band of wedgwood/jasperware purple/lavender (called cranberry at ) with white figures. There appears above this design motif another band of white laurel leaves, scrolls, & "genie" lamps. The rim is trimmed in 22k gold. The stem is short with three seams going from foot & up sides into bowl.. PLEASE check out all photos. FUN, retro 50's looking set! SIZE... 4" tall x 2 1/4" diameter bowl. Base is 2 1/4" across. 3 oz. liquid capacity.
MAKERS MARK... unmarked...however, after doing my research they appear to be from the JEANETTE GLASS CO...c.1950. Pattern HELLENIC. CONDITION… a few glasses show some wear on gold rim. No cracks or chips! Sweet & petite! Great addition to anyone's home bar.
