These amazing Amethyst are a relatively new find & are mined by the Shangaan Tribal people at Chibuku mine in Zimbabwe near the border w/ Mozambique. Most of these have Red Hematite inclusions that emanate grounding & stabilizing frequencies as well.
The Legend of Amethyst stems all the way back to the 12 Tribes of Israel & was one of the stones on the Hebrew Breast-plate of the High Priest. Amethyst, known as the sobriety stone, assists in de-attachment to addictions & over indulgence.
